School Council

 

The Governors and staff value the views of everyone at the school. The School Council is the

voice of the pupils. Representatives from Foundation upwards meet weekly, acting as a valuable channel of communication with the rest of the school. Meetings cover all areas of school life, from playtime equipment, school dinners and even naming the Tunnel Boring System that will be based on our school field this year.

Eco Warriors

 

Representatives from KS2 classes are working towards the Eco Schools Award (silver).  This is an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning. Representatives meet regularly to plan and develop ideas to enable our school and pupils to lead a greener, more sustainable life.  The whole school recently learnt about the importance of energy saving and took part in an energy saving challenge.  Well done to 6AW for winning and naming our adorable school polar bear, Hope.
