Assessment at Lipson Vale
All primary school pupils across the country take part in statutory assessments throughout their primary school careers. The results of these assessments are used as part of the process of measuring the effectiveness of a school in supporting pupils to become lifelong learners and meet the national expected standards.

Ongoing Assessments
Throughout the year, we informally assess pupils to check that our teaching has been effective in providing pupils with new knowledge and that learning has been remembered over time. All of teacher assessments are made using the curriculum expectations for We do this in a variety of ways but below are some of the ways that we do this.
