Y3 Learning Assembly

This week, year 3 held an assembly to share their learning about The Romans. During the performance, the children shared examples of their writing this term and read extracts from their story writing inspired by Escape from Pompeii as well as their non-chronological reports on life as a Roman Gladiator. In addition, the children presented some artwork, including mosaics that they had made and sang songs that they have practised in their music lessons.

Before the assembly, we sold biscuits in the shape of Roman shields that the children had made and a selection of drinks as part of our enterprise project in which we have explored buying and selling products to make a profit.

Thank you to the families who attended the morning and supported our assembly. Through the refreshments that you bought, we raised £32.15 for our school charity, Cancer Research.
