Message From the Head teacher
We can confirm that we have had a positive Covid-19 case in school. This was reported to us on Saturday 17th of October. Following a conversation with the family and Public Health England, all close and proximity contacts were identified and were informed that they need to self-isolate: we emailed a letter to these families, and contacted everyone individually, to confirm this information. A general information letter was also sent out to our families confirming a positive case in school.
School remains open to all pupils who are not self-isolating. We continue to monitor the situation and will keep families up-to-date with any new information.
We have set up an 'out of hours' email that can be used by parents to contact school outside of our opening hours to inform us of any Covid-19 related issues or queries. For example, if a family member or pupil of the school receives a positive test result. The email is

A note on E-Safety
Many of the tasks suggested for your children during this time require your child to access resources online, including the use of search engines and video sharing website such as YouTube. In school we have restrictions in place to reduce the likelihood of the children accessing inappropriate material whilst online. If you do not already have web filters in place, we recommend contacting your internet service provider (BT, Virgin Media, TalkTalk etc.), who will be able to advise you on how to set these up. Putting these measures in place will provide a degree of protection for your child whilst online as, particularly when so many of you will be working from home, it is unlikely that your child can be directly supervised at all times.
